By installing or using Jev for Sheets ("the add-on") you agree to these terms.
The add-on
Jev for Sheets is free, open-source software released under the MIT License. It adds formulas to Google Sheets that send cell text to TypeSafe AI's API and return the answers.
Your TypeSafe account
- You need your own TypeSafe API key. Your use of TypeSafe is governed by TypeSafe's own terms, and TypeSafe bills you directly.
- You are responsible for the usage and costs your formulas generate, including usage by others if you share your key with a spreadsheet.
- Keep your key secret. Remove it from the add-on's settings and revoke it in TypeSafe's console if you think it has been exposed.
Acceptable use
Only send data you have the right to share with TypeSafe. Don't use the add-on in violation of the law, Google's policies, or TypeSafe's terms.
Answers can be wrong
Answers come from an AI model and can be incorrect, even with high confidence. Review results before relying on them, especially for decisions that affect people. The min_confidence option and UNSURE result help, but they don't guarantee correctness.
No warranty
The add-on is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The developer is not liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from its use, including costs incurred with TypeSafe, lost data, or decisions made from its answers. The add-on may change or stop working, for example if TypeSafe's API changes.
Independence
Jev for Sheets is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or TypeSafe AI.

These terms may be updated. Changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
